High MUF this morning and very early on with carriers detected on R5 at 0730 localtime. Signals on R1 were strong enough to override the baby alarm QRM but the surprise was DR1 Denmark on E4. No ID was seen but it has the unmistakable low carrier frequency. The cookery programme matches the listing as well. The signal was weak and no decent stills were obtained although I did manage to get some very weak video from it.

What a day of Es! This isn't the full log, just those I wrote down at the time. For most of the day the same signals have been fading in and out including Iran and Dubai on E2, both were near video level for 304 hours this afternoon. I recorded nearly 10 'new' unid video carriers mainly on the Italian channels and also have a tentative logging of ORF on E3 as well as a probably ORF on E4.
This is a very large and poor quality MPG of what looks to be ORF on E3, thanks to a tip from Mathias on UKW I suspect it is the 100W Birkfeld relay.
A few minutes later a carrier was seen on E4 62.240.41 with sidebands, could this be ORF1 Neumarkt-Kulmer Alpe up from last years offset of 240.17? Unfortunately on E3 the audio was from Jordan and no audio was heard on E4.
